A woman from York is doing a wing walk on a 1940s war plane - to raise money for charity.

33 year-old Libbie Waddleton is raising money for local York charity Accessible Arts & Media - and assistance dog charity Dogs for Good.

She's doing the wing walk in September at Wickenby Aerodrome in Lincolnshire - in fancy dress!

Libbie is hoping to raise £3,000 to be split between the two charities.

Libbie said “Due to the impact of Covid-19, charities across the UK are struggling so it seems like the perfect time to do this challenge again and brighten up what feels like a fairly gloomy world at the moment.

"I also want to raise funds for two charities that I’ve built a strong personal connection with over the last 12 months. Both Accessible Arts & Media and Dogs for Good do incredible work supporting those living with a wide range of disabilities to maintain as much independence and sense of belonging as they possibly can.”
