York through to playoff final

York City are one win away from promotion to the National League. The Minstermen beat Brackley Town 1-0 in their playoff semi-final this afternoon thanks to a goal from Lenell John-Lewis just before half time.

City will play either Boston United or AFC Fylde in the playoff final next Saturday. A win would see them back in the top tier of non-league football for the first time since 2017.
