Taxi drivers at York railway "frustrated" by RMT walk out
We've been talking to drivers about the impact the walk out is having
A group of York taxi drivers say they're frustrated and losing a lot of money because of the rail strikes.
Members of the RMT Union have walked out for a second time this week in a row over pay and conditions.
Drivers who pay to park outside York station so hardly any passengers are travelling through. Graham Bootland who is a self employed taxi driver says "I'm expecting it to be 30% of our normal takings today purely because no one is coming in and out of the station but we've still got to come out otherwise we don't earn a penny."
Another drive waiting in the queue, who didn't want to be named told us he doesn't support the walk out by the RMT workers "We don't have any sympathy, they get a decent wage and have a stable wage every week, sometimes we are on £4 an hour".
