Students at York University are holding a vigil tonight (10 February) to pay tribute to music student Harvey Parker.

The 20 year old went missing in December last year after leaving a London nightclub.

His body was found in the River Thames almost three weeks later.

A Just Giving page was set up and over £77,000 was raised in their memory. The money raised will go to “young queer support groups, neurodiverse and gender-diverse young people and talented musicians from under-represented communities.”

Harvey’s friends and family said:

“We want to send our thanks to everyone who can help us to support these causes, as a way to not only celebrate Harvey’s life but to keep the memory of our beautiful Harvey alive.”
