York City play centenary match against Notts County
It's a historic day for the club as they mark the milestone
City will finish their pre-season preparations by hosting Notts County today (30 July) at the LNER Community Stadium.
The original match between Notts County reserves and the Minstermen was first played on 6 September 1922 and 100 years later the club will celebrate their Centenary with a rematch.
City will be hoping for a more positive result this time around, with the game a century ago finishing 4-2 to the Magpies.
