It's being reported York City chairman Glen Henderson has withdrawn his offer to sell the club to fans.
He currently has 51% stake in the club - and it was thought he would sell that to the supporters trust.
However, he's since said he's had a change of heart and he's rescinded his offer.
Greatest Hits Radio York and North Yorkshire has contacted York City Supporters Trust (YCST) for a response.
In the last few minutes, the YCST has issued a statement on its website:
'Over the past 48 hours, the Supporters’ Trust has received a number of emails from Glen Henderson indicating that he has changed his mind on his offer to sell his shares in the football club to the Trust.'
In addition, the YCST said '__following the formal (initial) request from Glen (back in November), it already received a 'number of credible expressions of interests from prospective investors'.
The statement goes on to say: 'we (YCST) are now in the initial stages of a 7-stage scrutiny and due diligence process that will ultimately lead to a vote of our members at a Special General Meeting.
'We are due to issue further details of the process shortly after Christmas. We thank all prospective investors who have been in touch and can reassure them that the process will continue unabated.'
More to follow.
