Witness appeal following violent incident in York

Officers say it involved four men last Sunday morning (15th December)

Police are appealing for information about a violent incident that happened in York.

It happened at 8am last Sunday (15th December) on Thoresby Road and St Stephens Road.

Officers say it involved four local men aged 40, 35, 35 and 25. They were arrested and released with bail conditions to prevent further offences while enquiries are made.

Anyone who witnessed the incident or has any CCTV footage that captured it is being urged to come forward.
