Urgent appeal for missing man from York

Police in North Yorkshire have launched an urgent appeal to find a missing man from York.

Christopher Finnigan, 78, left York Hospital at 10.45am today and has not been seen since. Officers are extremely concerned for his welfare.

Mr Finnigan is white, 5ft 9ins, with balding short grey hair and glasses with a gold frame. He's wearing a dark grey top, blue jeans and brown shoes.

North Yorkshire Police are working to get a photo of Mr Finnigan to share - but in the mean time are urging the public to report any potential sightings to them immediately.
