Urgent appeal following serious wounding incident at a flat in York
A man in his 40s suffered serious injuries on Middleton Road in Acomb
A 35-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of being involved in a violent incident at a flat in York.
The victim, a local man aged in his 40s, suffered serious injuries on Middleton Road in Acomb at around 6.10pm on Sunday (9th March) and is currently receiving hospital treatment.
Three men, aged 56, 49 and 27, were arrested shortly after the incident and a 40-year-old man was arrested earlier today (Monday 10th March) in connection with the investigation.
They are being held in custody for questioning.
Witnesses to the incident are urged to call North Yorkshire Police on 101 and speak to the Force Control Room.
