Two people seriously injured in crash involving car and van near York
It happened on Friday afternoon on the A64 at the Towthorpe crossroads
Police say two people suffered serious injuries in a crash which happened near York on Friday afternoon.
The collision occurred at around 2.20pm on the A64 at the Towthorpe crossroads.
It involved a white Transit van and a red Audi. The Audi was travelling from the Malton area towards York, and the Transit was travelling from Strensall towards Stockton-on-the-Forest.
Officers are now appealing for any witnesses to get in touch with them.
