Trespassers at Bootham Crescent
York City have confirmed the reports.
York City say there have been trespassers at Bootham Crescent.
The club have officially played their last fixture at the old ground, ahead of the inaugural match at the LNER Community Stadium.
In a statement the club say: "It's been brought to our attention that this week we had trespassers at Bootham Crescent.
"Not only is it illegal it is also unsafe.
"We are in a full Lockdown and therefore these people not only put themselves at risk but also the club's groundsman, players and staff.
"We still have hope that we will be able welcome fans to say goodbye to the ground at the right time and in a safe way, until then please do not attempt to gain access to the ground. Thank you".
