Tom Cruise has been spotted in North Yorkshire, reportedly filming the new Mission Impossible film!

The Hollywood A-lister was seen near Pickering yesterday, rehearsing a stunt at the North Yorkshire Moors Railway, and he's back today.

Photos show the actor landing in a black helicopter, before being shown around Levisham Station.

"All of a sudden, there's Tom!"

One of those to see him yesterday was Sarah Jones, owner of Pear Tree House B&B and Holiday Cottage.

She told us: "It was just a run-of-the-mill dog walk really. We'd heard rumours that things were happening in town.

"We timed it very well. This enourmous black helicopter appeared, and landed in front of us.

"All of a sudden, there's Tom!"

Sarah's post on social media received hundreds of comments and reactions.

She added: "He was very friendly, he was very nice. He waved, and shouted hello.

"It felt very special, that he was in our little town, coming out of lockdown!"

"See ya tomorrow!"

That's a sentiment echoed by the local Design Farm Studio.

In a Facebook post, they described seeing the actor rehearsing a stunt for the new Mission Impossible movie on the North Yorkshire Moors Railway.

They added: "At the end of the day he gave us a wave, said ‘see ya tomorrow!’ to the kids then jumped into his helicopter and flew it away himself like an absolute boss!

"An action hero in every sense of the word!"
