Three men arrested in connection with light aircraft crash near Thirsk
One person died in the crash at Bagby Airfield
North Yorkshire Police have made three arrests in connection with the light aircraft crash earlier this year near Thirsk in which one person died.
The crash happened on Thursday 6th July at Bagby Airfield near Thirsk where a man in his 20s died.
Three men aged 37, 55 and 68 were arrested yesterday (Tuesday 12th September) on suspicion of manslaughter.
They were interviewed and have since been released under investigation.
The investigation is led by North Yorkshire Police with support from the Civil Aviation Authority.
