Thirsk woman starts epic new swimming challenge
Jasmine Harrison wants to become the first woman to swim from Land's End to John O'Groats
A 22 year old Thirsk woman is starting her next world record attempt this afternoon.
Jasmine Harrison will swim from Land's End to John O'Groats which is a huge 900 miles!
It is expected that the challenge will take 3 months.
She would be the first female to complete the challenge and hopes to raise £10,000 for Sea Sheperd UK. The charity say it investigates, exposes and takes action to defend ocean wildlife and habitats.
Weather permitting, she will start the challenge at approximately 3.30pm.
Last year she became the youngest woman to row the Atlantic Ocean.
