Teenager suffers injuries after an assault in York

Police are appealing for witnesses to the attack on South Beck Footpath

Police are appealing for information after a teenager was assaulted in York.

One teenage girl and two teenage boys were involved in the attack, leaving the female victim with bruising on her face and chest. The suspects are believed to be in their mid to late teens.

It happened at around 3.30pm on 22nd August on the South Beck Footpath, off Byland Avenue, in Heworth.

Offices are appealing for information about any witnesses who may have seen the incident or people acting suspiciously in this area during this time.
