A teenager's been seriously injured after an assault in Helmsley.
It happened on Sunday afternoon - the boy was found unconscious by two members of the public.
He was taken to hospital with serious injuries to his face.
Officers are appealing for the two people who helped the victim, to come forward and contact the police as they might have vital information which could assist the investigation.
