Teenager charged with attempted murder after boy "significantly injured" in Harrogate

A teenage boy has been charged with attempted murder after another teenager was found with "significant injuries" in Harrogate.
The 16-year-old, who cannot be named for legal reasons, was arrested on Sunday (February 19).
The other teenager involved in the incident remains in a critical condition in hospital.
Extra patrols have been carried out around Claro Road.
Detective Inspector Nichola Holden, said: “We know local residents are likely to be concerned by this incident and I hope the quick arrest of a suspect will go some way to reassure them.
“We believe this to be an isolated event with both teenagers known to each other and we are carrying out a full investigation to establish the full circumstances surrounding it.”
