Teenager arrested after report of sexual offence in York
It follows an alleged offence before midnight on 1 January
A teenager's been arrested after reports of sexual offence in York.
In the early hours of Friday 1 January 2021, police received a report of a sexual offence that had occurred shortly before midnight, near Millennium Bridge in York.
A teenager was arrested in connection with the incident later the same day. He has since been released on bail while police enquiries continue.
A North Yorkshire Police spokesperson said:
