Police officer pleads guilty to kidnap and rape of Sarah Everard from York

A serving Met police officer's pleaded guilty to the kidnap and rape of York woman, Sarah Everard.

PC Wayne Couzens has been appearing at the Old Bailey.

The court's also heard he accepts responsibility for her killing - but was not asked to enter a plea to a charge of murder.

The 33-year-old went missing on March 3 while walking home after visiting a friend in south London. Her remains were found in woodland in Kent.
