A York baby Charity say they are helping more new parents than ever before.

'Bundles of Joy' give out donated items from nappies, toiletries and clothes to families struggling to make ends meet.

Becky Watson who runs the project says the rising cost of living is hitting young families hard. "I've met so many parents who skip meals so that their children can eat. I think what shocks people to hear is there is actually so much need in our City. Because it's behind closed doors so many people don't know about it."

The project is encouraging anyone who is struggling to get in touch.
