A North Yorkshire woman is on a mission to help young people who can't afford an outfit for prom.

Danielle Huntington has set up a project called 'Say Yes to the Prom Dress'. She is based in Carlton, near Selby but says she's travelling to help teenagers across North and South Yorkshire and Northern Lincolnshire.

She's collecting donated dresses and suits and then working with schools to give them out.

She says the rising cost of living means some students this year wouldn't be able to go to the celebration. Dresses and suits can cost hundreds of pounds.

Danielle says they've had a brilliant response and is now storing around 50 prom dresses in her spare bedroom at home.
