Police warn the public to be on lookout for farming equipment
A number of items have been stolen in Deighton - including a quad bike
North Yorkshire Police is asking members of the public to keep an eye out for stolen farming equipment.
The items were stolen from a property in Deighton between midnight and 3am on Friday (13 October).
The items that have been taken are...
> A red Honda TRX4505 quad bike
> A wooden quad bike trailer with red mudguards
> A green John Deere ride-on lawnmower
> A blue Bosch drill and a Bosch hammer drill, also blue
> Milwaukee M18 tools, including a red and black 115 angle grinder and a half-inch impact wrench
> A slug pelleter, made by Stocks
"We're urging the public to keep an eye out"
A North Yorkshire Police spokesman said:
“We’re urging the public to keep an eye out for these items and report them to us, especially if they’re offered for sale.
“An investigation is ongoing and information you provide could help us tackle rural crime.”
