North Yorkshire Police were called out to reports of a 'human skull' being found in Pickering on Tuesday (18 July).

The discovery was made in a beck by a member of the public.

But it turned out to be a concrete model, which officers described as "quite realistic".

The person who found it commented on a social media post, saying they were "glad they reported it", adding it's not an "everyday occurrence".
