Police appeal for witnesses following a collision on the A61

A motorcyclist was taken to hospital after the crash involving a car

Police are appealing for information about a collision on the A61.

It happened shortly after 7pm yesterday (2nd Sep) and involved a silver Triumph motorcycle and a black Ford Fiesta car near to the junction of Moor Road which leads to Bishop Monkton.

The rider of the motorcycle was injured and taken to Harrogate hospital in an ambulance, whilst the car driver received minor injuries.

If you have any dashcam footage, or witnessed the collision or either of the vehicles prior to it, please get in touch as soon as possible as this will assist the investigation.
