Police appeal for information after an attack in Selby

A woman in her 40s was assaulted and suffered serious facial injuries

Police are appealing for witnesses and information following a serious assault that took place in Selby.

It happened at approximately 11.20pm on Friday 29 March on Micklegate Walk, just off Finkle Street. The victim, a woman in her 40s, was assaulted and suffered serious facial injuries including a suspected broken nose.

Officers are particularly appealing for anyone who was out in Selby on the Good Friday bank holiday and who may have seen or heard anything that could assist their investigation.
