PICTURES: A64 crane fire causes chaos during morning rush hour
It happened near Tadcaster
There are major delays on the A64 near Tadcaster this morning following a large crane fire.
It happened during rush hour on the Eastbound carriageway near Oxton Lane.
Emergency services are at the scene including five crews from North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue.
Firefighters are also telling those living nearby to close windows and doors due to the large amount of smoke from the scene.
Road closures are in place as a result:
