Man seriously injured after collision in Tadcaster, driver arrested
It happened on Mill Lane on Saturday (January 7)
A man has been left in hospital with serious injuries after being hit by a car in Tadcaster on Saturday afternoon (January 7)
Police believe he was crossing Mill Lane at around 2:45.
The driver of a blue KIA was arrested on suspicion of drink and drug driving a short time later, and has been released under investigation.
Officers are appealing to speak to any possible witnesses, or anyone who may have dashcam footage.
The road was closed for around three hours while investigations took place.
