Second Day of River Ouse Searches for Missing Woman

North Yorkshire Police are resuming searches, as efforts to locate a woman who fell into the River Ouse yesterday (Friday 30th October) continue.
Officers are carrying out operations looking both underwater and on riverbanks.
The missing woman is believed to be from York and aged in her early 20s. Her family are being supported.
As we reported yesterday, she entered the water around 12.10pm. Motorists were asked to avoid Lendal Bridge for a time.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
Officers are asking for anyone who saw a woman enter the water on Friday lunch time to get in touch.
