North Yorkshire's Police and Crime Commissioner is looking to educate people on the dangers of drug use.
Julia Mulligan's wanting to raise the awareness to young people and their parents in the future.
It's after a third teenager recently died from taking illegal drugs in North Yorkshire.
Julia said:
"This is a subject that I'm extremely concerned about.
"I think it's really important that parents have the information they need to help keep their children safe, and also that young people do understand the dangers of this.
"I'm also extremely keen to have a look at the drugs market; so what's being sold to teenagers in our county? What are they taking? How are they getting hold of it?
"I think some of the data we have are out-of-date and focuses a lot on things like cannabis, heroin, heroin and crack cocaine; when in actual fact, the deaths that we've had most recently have been due to MDMA.
"There's a lot of work to do on this and it's something I'm really keen that not just the police, but partners in the county to start to really understand the issue that we've got."
