Man who went missing in North Yorkshire found 'safe and well'
80 year old Harry Harvey was reported missing on Sunday.
Missing man Harry Harvey has been found safe and well.
He was found by a wildlife photographer who had seen North Yorkshire Police's appeal and noticed Harry waving at her from the direction of Keld.
The 80 year old had been reported missing on Sunday after taking part in a walk between Gunnerside Gill and Tan Hill.
Inspector Mark Gee told us: "we're all thrilled that Harry's been found. Our concerns had been growing as he'd been missing since Saturday afternoon, before being reported missing on Sunday.
"He's an experienced walker and fortunately had been prepared for adverse weather. He brought with him camping equipment and rations".
Mark went on to say: "Harry's doing really well. It was lovely to see him reunited with his family at the Tan Hill Pub".
