Man left with fractured skull following serious assault in North Yorkshire

A man's been left with a fractured skull following a serious assault on Blake Street in York city centre.

It happened on the 27th March in the early hours of the morning, around 1.30am to 1.50am near to McDonalds and the Londis store.

It's believed one man punched another to the ground following an argument.

The victim was taken to hospital and received treatment for a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain.

North Yorkshire Police said:

"We’re particularly appealing for anyone to come forward who witnessed the assault or was in the area at the time.

"The suspect is described as a white man, in his forties, large build and bald.

"Please email John-Simon.Coleman@northyorkshire.police.uk if you have any information that could help our investigation.
