Police are appealing for witnesses after an assault in York

A 37 year old man, from York was attacked by two other men in the early hours of yesterday morning - leaving him with injuries.

North Yorkshire police say it happened on Crichton Avenue - the victims phone was also taken.

Officers are urging people to come forward with witness accounts, CCTV, dash-cam footage, or any information.
