Man exposes himself in York

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man exposed himself in York.

It happened in the Water Lane area of the city around 7.15pm on Saturday.

The incident involved a man exposing himself, urinating in the street, then riding off on a cycle. He is described as a white male, of average build and wearing a dark grey jacket.

In a statement, North Yorkshire Police said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident. In particular, we are appealing to anyone that may have seen the man and may be able to identify him to get in touch."
