Man dies in light aircraft crash near Selby

A man's died after the light aircraft he was flying crashed while trying to land at an airfield near Selby.
It happened at Breighton airfield in Bubworth on Sunday.
The aircraft caught fire on impact with the ground - emergency crews attended but the man died at the scene.
In a statement, Humberside Police said: "The individual’s family has been notified and are being supported by officers.
"Investigations into the events leading up to the incident are ongoing. If anyone has any information relating to the tragic incident, please call us on our non-emergency line, 101 quoting log 254 of 14 November.”
