A 22-year old man's been cleared of murder following the death of a man in North Yorkshire

Luke Miller, 23, died after he was stabbed in the chest in the early hours of the morning on Boxing Day last year in Tadcaster.

Taylor Fenwick had been standing trial at Leeds Crown court.

He admitted taking a knife on to the street to try and intimidate his friend who was trying to get into his flat.

But he told the jury he didn't kill him - claiming someone else must have fatally wounded Luke while he was being held in a headlock.

Today, Mr Fenwick was found not guilty of murder by the jury - he was not convicted of any lesser charges and so has been discharged from custody.
