Police are hunting for suspects who attacked and seriously injured a man at a nature reserve in Sherburn.
It happened at around 4.45pm on Saturday afternoon at Sherburn Willows Nature Reservce.
Officers believe the attack was unprovoked.
The victim was left needing treatment in hospital for serious injuries.
Police say they don't yet have a description of the attackers.
