Man assaulted in York city centre
It happened in the early hours of Saturday (9th October) outside Popworld.
North Yorkshire Police is appealing for information and witnesses after a serious assault which took place outside the Popworld club on George Hudson Street in York, just before 3am on Saturday 9th October 2021.
A man sustained head injuries in the assault and was taken to hospital for treatment before later being discharged.
North Yorkshire Police said: "We are requesting the public’s assistance to help establish the full circumstances surrounding the incident.
"In particular, we are appealing for information about anything that may have happened leading up to the assault, and possible mobile phone footage of the altercation.
