Man assaulted in York

A man was knocked unconscious after being assaulted in York City Centre.

It happened outside the Turtle Bay bar on Little Stonegate just after 7pm on Sunday.

The suspect then ran off along Little Stonegate and Blake Street.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact police on 101.
