A man was taken to hospital after being assaulted in York.

The man, in his 40s, was attacked near Ouse Bridge between 2am and 2.30am yesterday.

Two male teenagers were arrested and have been released on bail.

North Yorkshire Police are asking for any witnesses or anyone with information to come forward, particularly anyone who saw any part of a fight occurring.
