Police investigate after lambs stolen and killed near Selby

Offenders entered the farm in Camblesforth on Thursday night (15 April).

Police are investigating, after offenders broke into a farm in Selby District on Thursday night (15 April).

33 lambs, which were only a few days old, were stolen. 4 more lambs ere found dead at the scene.

Offenders entered the site in Camblesforth at some point between 10pm on Thursday 14 April, and 8am on Friday 15 April.

North Yorkshire Police say a grey/silver Audio A4 estate, with a "60" registration plate, was seen acting suspiciously in the area a few hours earlier.
