Hundreds of people in Yorkshire have now taken part in a special memorial project to remember a loved one who has been lost to suicide.

The "speak their name" memorial quilt is made up of individual hand crafted squares - each one created by a bereaved family.

Karen Sykes lost her husband and daughter and is one of the organisers.

She says they're adding to it all the time: "It does bring a message of hope as well, it's a beautiful piece of art but it's a positive project in that it helps people create something very unique because each square on the quilt is very unique.

The quilt is now on tour around the County. In 2023 it will visit Hull Minster, Hebden bridge, Wakefield cathedral, the Kirklees area, St James hospital in Leeds and Howarth.
