Guide dog attacked in York

Police are looking for help to work out what happened.

The incident happened on Willow Bank, in the North of the city.

North Yorkshire Police is looking for anyone who witnessed an attack on a guide dog, which happened in York on Saturday (17 April).

It happened around 5.30pm at Willow Bank.

The incident involved a male with a guide dog, and another male, who police wish to speak to. He had a black dog.

Officers are also looking for anyone who saw what happened to get in touch.

A statement from North Yorkshire Police reads: "Anyone with information that could assist the investigation should contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2, and ask for Joe Danson. You can also email Joseph.Danson@Northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
