Police appeal after man stabbed in York
He was taken to hospital on Saturday night (06 May)
A man has been arrested after another man was taken to hospital with stab wounds following an apparent attack in York.
Armed police were called to Gregory Close in Skelton where the man was found with a stab wound to his shoulder.
The injury is not believed to be life-threatening.
North Yorkshire Police said: "A 36-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of wounding with intent. He was subsequently released on police bail while enquiries into the incident continue.
"Officers from the Neighbourhood Policing Team will be on patrol in the area to provide reassurance to local residents."
