Man dies following Leyburn collision
Police are still appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage of the incident.
A man has died following a collision in Leyburn last Friday. As a result of the incident, a pedestrian was taken to hospital with serious injuries and has now passed away.
He's been named as 31-year-old Benjamin Robinson from Leyburn.
On Friday 28th November, police were called at 10.10pm to a report of a red Range Rover car colliding with a pedestrian on Railway Street.
Officers arrested a woman in her 70s in connection with the collision, and has since been released under investigation.
North Yorkshire Police's Major Collision Investigation Team are appealing for any witnesses or anyone who has dashcam footage of the incident to contact them.
