Fire crews tackle barn blaze near Selby

Five teams from Selby, York, Goole, Tadcaster and Ripon have been dealing with the incident

Firefighters have been tackling a barn fire just outside of Selby.

Three crews have been in Cliffe overnight dealing with the blaze, which engulfed a large number of hay bales.

We're told no people or animals have been injured.

Fire crews from Selby, York and Goole have been at the scene - alongside with a water bowser from Tadcaster.

The incident now being scaled down to two pumps and a second water bowser from Boroughbridge.
