Driver arrested after man is struck by a car in Scarborough

Police are appealing for information following an altercation in Scarborough in which a man was struck by a car.

It happened at 10.45am on Saturday (18th January) on Cayton Low Road in the Eastfield area.

A white BMW was involved and the man who was hit was not seriously injured. Officers say a man in his 60s who was the driver has been arrested in connection with the investigation.

Police are urging anyone who saw the incident at the time or has any dashcam footage to come forward.
