Cyclist injured in hit and run in York

Police are appealing for anyone who witnessed a hit and run in York yesterday to come forward.

A car and a cyclist were involved in a collision at 6.35am on the A1036 roundabout.

The car failed to stop at the scene.

The cyclist suffered a broken ankle and a broken wrist.

Anyone with information is being urged to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101.
