Cost of living hits York restaurant

A York restaurant owner says his business is being impacted as fewer people can afford to go out for a meal

We're hearing how the rising cost of living is effecting North Yorkshire's hospitality sector.

Some restaurant owners say they've already seen a drop in customers as people try to save money by eating at home.

Radek Bak runs the Corner Grill Steak House in York. He has told us that he has "already lost customers, everywhere has gone quiet. It's not only that customers are spending less money because they are trying to save each penny which is understandable."
