Clothes bank set up for Ukrainian refugees in York
Families can also collect food and children's toys from the Church in Acomb
We've been meeting some of the Ukrainian refugees getting help from a new clothes and food bank in York.
It's been set up at the Jesus Christ Church of Latter Day Saints in Acomb.
Lena Henderson is Ukrainian but has lived in York for 17 year she helped to set it up and says it has also become a social event with people making friends and helping to support each other.
Volunteer say they welcome even more donations and have put out an appeal for clothes, clothing rails, pre packaged food, and children's toys. They say even if the Church is closed you can still leave donations outside the door.
They've also thanked local businesses for their amazing generosity.
