A former police inspector says he believes the case of Claudia Lawrence can still be solved - 15 years after her disappearance.

On the 19th March 2009, the 35 year old chef failed to arrive for her 6am shift at the University of York.

Police believe the 35 year old Chef was murdered - although a body has never been found.

Martin Holleran is an expert in missing people and has been studying the case for years.

He says;

"The biggest interesting point for me was where there was an argument between a male and a female outside of a car, on a route that Claudia may well have taken to the University where she worked.

"That was witnessed by an individual, and I think that is the most significant.

"If that does relate to Claudia's case, then obviously somebody will be aware of who those people were, or who that male was who was potentially driving the car."

North Yorkshire Police have said the case remains open and are urging anyone with any new information about Claudia's disappearance to come forward.

Senior Investigating officer Wayne Fox says the inquiry is in a "reactive phase" and they'd welcome any new information.
